- Bratwurst
- Light or dark beer
- New England-style top sliced bund
- One can of sauerkraut
- 1 tsp of Dijon mustard
Instructions:
- In a cast-iron skillet for the entire can of sauerkraut, half of your beer, and the Dijon mustard. Mix well.
- Place your sauerkraut in the mixture.
- Please distillate over the hottest part of the fire until it bubbles and moves to the outer edge, lower the heat, and allow the mixture to simmer.
- Leave this to simmer until the sausages are fully cooked.
- When you’re ready to serve your sandwiches, move the skillet back to the hottest part of the fire to chare the outside of the sausages.
- Serve on a New England-style top, sliced Buns, and enjoy!
